Many of you have asked to see what goes on "behind the camera."  Well, I wanted to
give you an idea of what things look like from a view that's a little different from
what you see "on the air" every night when you are watching Fox News.

Trying to get my "ear monitor" in without messing up my hair.  Most of the time I have to "primp" a little as the picture to the right shows!

OK, now you see what I do during the commercials just before I go on the air!  That's right!  I primp!  And there are little TV monitors all over the newsroom that provides great comic relief for the overnight gang!

Here I am with my Producer "Goldy" known to his parents as Jonathan Goldberg.  We are in the master control room where I just caught him playing solitaire on his computer.  Just kidding!!

This is where it all happens!  The master control room.  I'm standing in front of Goldy, obviously getting in the way and making a scene while everyone else is trying to do their jobs.  Now you can see why they rarely allow me to visit the master control room...  because most of the time, I am out of control!!

No I'm not surfing the web!  I am "top lining" someone with Fox News.  Probably Greg Palkot while he is in some foreign country asking where the next Springsteen concert will be!  It's also a great way to update Red Sox scores to our reporters all over the world!  Go BoSox!

Now this is a place you never get to see me, The Fox News Radio studio.  If I'm not in front of the camera, I'm recording reports for Fox News Radio.  So make sure you tune in when you're in your cars late at night!

Here is another colleague of mine that I could not do my job without.  This is Don Alexander, an associate producer / writer.  Don makes sure that even if there is nothing extremely exciting going on in the news, I will have something interesting to talk to you about each night!

Don is also an avid baseball fan and has even been known to play a little 'bawl" in years gone by.  The question is this:  Is Don a BoSox fan?

The answer is NOT YET!

Hey Don!  Wasn't the 2004 World Series GREAT!!

This guy is THE reason I feel safe working in New York at night!  Meet Jim Foote, our security consultant.

Translation: Big guy ya don't wanna mess with!

Jim not only keeps the bad guys out, he makes sure that I am safely escorted to my private jet after work every night!  Just kidding!  I don't fly to work in a private jet, everyone knows I fly to and from work in my own private helicopter!  OK, just kidding again, I don't even drive my car!  I ride my horse to work every night.  The tolls are so much cheaper!

This is Steve Ferri, he is responsible for coordinating all the live reports you see on the air.  Note:  When Steve learned that his picture was being taken, he quickly moved to his computer and acted extremely busy...  note the phone strategically placed between his left shoulder and ear to create the illusion that he is so feverishly typing away that his is forced to "wedge" the phone in this manner.  This phone technique often leads to a chronic newsroom ailment known as "myshoulderandneckarekillingmeitis" cured only by performing a delicate surgery know as "myshoudlerandneckrekillingmeectomy."

 The truth must be told...

If I am correct, the call that he is on in this photo was to a friend in Boston who just informed us that the Red Sox beat the Yankees... again.

Bahhahhahhaaaaaaahhaahaaa!!!

You can run, but you can't hide!!
This is my friend Gina.  She runs the controls for my Fox Radio reports.

I know...  I know...  You're asking what's up with the pink Chuck Taylor All-Stars!  These beauties belong to Gina!  I just had to take a picture of them when she walked by one night!

This is Walter Baran with me in the newsroom.  Walter, an associate producer, makes my life on camera much, much easier every night.

Most of you don't know that I also play guitar in Bon Jovi's band on my off days!  NOT REALLY!But that is supposed to be a "G" chord!

This was a real treat for me!  Recently, my friend Gary Lashinsky brought some of his Lipizzaner Stallions to the studio for Fox & Friends.  Their appearance at Fox was part of a promotional tour for the upcoming United States tour of the famous Spanish Riding School from Vienna, Austria.  How cool it was to be able to see Gary and the Lipizzans that I have had the honor to ride!  Check out my  "Equestrian"  page to see more about The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions!

I had to leave this photo larger so that you could check out the detail!  These boots were made for me by a friend in Texas (thanks Brian A.) and I recently wore them at Rita Cosby's birthday gala!

Despite the fact that I usually ride English style and wear those "English" riding boots, the "Country / Western" look is very close to my heart and I may even start barrel racing!!
Yes, that means riding in a rodeo!  Whooohooo!

Oh, and I listen to Toby Keith!  Does that make me a cowgirl??

What would Johnny Damon do?

He would JUMP ship and go play for the Yankees!!!  ARRRRRRRGGGGG!!!!!

Since Johnny Damon went to the Yankees...
I must ask all of you:

"What Would Jack Bauer Do?"
